Lara Linder

"You don't have to carry the weight of your world entirely on your own. Healing begins the moment someone truly listens."

Services and Therapy

Warm, evidence based, and entirely yours.

I am a passionate and committed CBT therapist, who tailors every session to your needs. With a specialism in cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness, I work to reduce psychological distress and support your overall wellbeing through both short and long term work.

Therapy, to me, means being seen, understood and heard. It is the space to be vulnerable on your hardest days, to set down what you have carried for a long time, and to slowly build resilience and find your way back into daily life. I welcome all ages, cultures and backgrounds, with no judgement.

Inner Sense

Why choose Inner Sense?

Life can often feel like navigating through a dense fog, where the noise of the world drowns out your own clarity. At Inner Sense, we work together to quiet that external chaos and gently guide you back to your own anchor. Here, therapy clears the path so you can reconnect with the innate wisdom and strength you already carry within. No matter where you are in the world, this is your steady ground, a space to rediscover your rhythm and awaken your true inner sense.

“You don’t need to wait for a crisis to deserve support. Your feelings are valid, your story matters, and there is a safe space waiting for you here”

Who Are My Clients?

Children

Growing up comes with big feelings that can sometimes be hard to put into words. Whether your child is navigating school anxiety, behavioral changes, a difficult family transition, or emotional roadblocks, therapy provides a gentle, creative space for them to heal and grow.

How I help

Through play, art, and age-appropriate coping strategies, I help children make sense of their world, build emotional resilience, and rediscover their natural joy.

Adolescence

The teenage years are a profound period of transformation, often bringing intense academic pressure, identity exploration, and shifting family dynamics. I offer teens a safe, non-judgmental space where they feel truly heard and respected.

How I help

Together, we work on overcoming low self-esteem, managing stress, and untangling complex emotions, equipping them with practical life skills and the resilience needed to confidently navigate the road to adulthood.

Adults

Whether you are battling chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, or depression, life can easily feel overwhelming. When you are feeling stuck on your path or drained by daily pressures, therapy offers a dedicated, supportive space to pause, reflect, and rebuild.

How I help

Our sessions focus on helping you untangle complex emotions, break through personal plateaus, and build sustainable coping mechanisms so you can create a fulfilling, grounded life.

Couples

Every relationship encounters rough patches, communication breakdowns, or seasons where the emotional connection fades. Couples counseling provides a neutral, structured environment to step away from the blame game and look at the underlying patterns driving your conflict.

How I help

We will work on practical strategies to express your needs clearly, manage disagreements constructively, and rebuild deep emotional intimacy.

Families

Family systems are beautifully complex, and when one part is under stress, the entire household feels it. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, parenting hurdles, or ongoing communication gaps, family therapy brings everyone together in a supportive space.

How I help

We focus on breaking negative cycles, fostering mutual empathy, and establishing healthy boundaries so your home can become a place of peace and connection again.

OCD & Intrusive Thoughts

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder can make your own mind feel like an exhausting, unsafe place. Whether you are trapped in cycles of intense worry, hyper-responsibility, or repetitive physical and mental behaviors (compulsions) to keep bad things from happening, OCD can severely shrink your world and leave you feeling deeply isolated.

How I help

Using evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we will work together at a pace that feels safe for you. I will help you learn to gently lean into discomfort without giving in to compulsions, break the cycle of anxiety, and reclaim the freedom to live your life on your own terms.

2

A warm welcome

Going into your first session might feel excited or even anxious and scared, and that is entirely okay. There is no right or wrong way to "do" therapy, and you don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. Come exactly as you are; we will take it one gentle step at a time.

3

Personalized Care

No two individuals walk the same path. Lara takes the time to listen to your story, your thoughts, worries, doubts and hopes and find a path to help you and achieve your goals again, with a mixture of CBT, mindfulness, grounding techniques and anything that may help you.

4

Ongoing Support

As your journey continues, sessions evolve with your progress, there is no limit or set number of sessions you have to commit to. Healing is not linear, we move at your pace, and you decide how long our collaborative journey lasts. You can stop, pause, or continue whenever it feels right for you.

"Reaching out isn't a sign of weakness. It is a profound act of courage that says: I am worth fighting for."

"Therapy isn't about fixing what is 'broken' within you. It is about uncovering the strength, clarity, and peace that have been there all along."
